Vipre 4.0 is now out. The link below is the actual download for the new Vipre 4.0. Click on the link and say yes to download (depending on your browser, you may or may not have to say yes to download).
Once you have downloaded, run the downloaded program. If you can't find it to run it, check in My Documents then in Downloads (the program to run should say Vipre.exe). Once installed you will have to restart you computer.
Helpful hint if you aren't finding the downloaded file: If you are seeing thumbnails or a list without dates in the Downloads file, find the little icon up on your tool bar that looks like a computer screen with a down arrow next to it. Click the down arrow and select Details. Find your downloaded program by the date you downloaded (the program to run should say Vipre.exe). Once you have found the program to run, double click it to run it.
You do not have to pay for this program update. (Some other antivirus companies make you pay to update their program to the latest version but Vipre give you the latest version of its software to download when you are a subscriber.)
